The 2006 One Page Prize - The Winners announced.

The winner of the 2006 One Page Story Prize is:

Clorinda Smith from Suffolk , England with "Out of Order".

Clorinda wins €1,000 and, along with the following nine runners up, is published in the 2006 Fish Anthology. This was launched at the West Cork Literary Festival in Bantry on Monday 3 July.

(Actually Fish Publishing would like to apologise to Clorinda for a horrible typo in Out of Order. For those of you with a copy of the 2006 Fish Anthology, go to page 30 and, in the last line of the second paragraph, replace "thingies" with "thing's" which makes it much more readable. Neither Clorinda nor Fish Publishing would ever use the word "thingies" voluntarily, and we apologise to Clorinda and all our readers on behalf of our proofreader for letting this slip through.)

The runners up are:

Alison Grove, Ross-Shire , Scotland - Sudden Sceptic
